A recent poll taken by the Al Jazeera Arabic TV channel shows that 81% of their viewers support ISIS. The popular TV news network which is hosted in Qatar and viewed all over the Muslim world in the Middle East and North Africa asked their Arabic viewers to respond to the following question:
“Do you support the organizing victories of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)?”
Response: Obviously the ISIS terrorists have a lot of support among Muslims in the Middle East, a very shocking development.
Meanwhile President Obama and Muslim apologists in America keep on telling us that ISIS really doesn’t represent true Islam and its ‘peaceful’ teachings. Apparently the vast majority of Arabic Muslim viewers of Al Jazeera have a very different view of Islam.
Also note that the poll came after the recent declarations by the ISIS leader:
"Islam was never a religion of peace. Islam is the religion of fighting," Baghdadi stated. "No one should believe that the war that we are waging is the war of the Islamic State. It is the war of all Muslims, but the Islamic State is spearheading it. It is the war of Muslims against infidels."
"O Muslims, go to war everywhere. It is the duty of every Muslim, Allah has revealed Islam to be the religion of the sword.
Recently our President claimed that he was winning the war against ISIS but this poll should give us a strong dose of reality. Those beheading videos and terrorist killings of Christian and minority civilians by ISIS brings on nothing but abhorrence in America and the West. However, the public opinion in the Muslim world appears to be substantially different.
Those in the West who continue to hope for a moderate Muslim ‘reformation’ don’t seem to realize that there is already one going on among Muslims in this generation. However, that ‘reformation’ is bringing forth a more radical form that refuses to compromise with Western PC ideals and hopes to establish a powerful Muslim Caliphate to oppose the West along with America and Israel.
Unfortunately the Al Jazeera poll indicates that the radical ISIS group is winning the hearts, minds, and hopes of the Muslim people in the Middle East. It also may indicate that there is now considerable support for a ‘religious war’ of Muslims against all non-Muslims, particularly Christians. It is shocking to most of us in America, and many will choose not to accept it because it makes no sense from a secular world view, but it is time for Americans to wake up to the truth.
Our foreign policy and military strategy towards the Muslim world needs to be readjusted in order to reflect that new reality. If not, than countless numbers of our young men and woman in the military might be needlessly sacrificed in the future. *Top
